I was flying out of my local airport to the American Christian Fiction Writers conference when I looked down, out my window.
I saw the green-blue of the Atlantic. The sandy, foam washed shore. The curve of the horizon as Florida’s edge stretched north beneath floating white clouds.
I thought, “People pay lots of money to vacation here. But this is where I live.”
It was a Dorothy moment, “There’s no place like home.”
