Okay, it was yesterday but I was flying home from Kansas City where I attended the Romantic Times Book Lover’s Convention and visited with a few friends after.

“The Wedding Dress” won RT’s Inspirational Novel of the Year and I went to pick up the physical award. Plus, it was great to meet readers and hang with fellow inspy authors.

Katie Bond, Marketing and Publicity Director for Harper Collins Christian Fiction hosted a fabulous breakfast for folks in order to introduce them to great inspirational fiction. Over 300 people showed up. We were excited.

But in the midst of it all, Once Upon A Prince officially released! It never gets old having a new book hit the shelves, hearing from readers, discovering the joy of a fantastic review, battling the discouragement of a not-so-fantastic review.

Some readers get some writers better than others. But books are an incredibly fascinating world. And I’d rather be nowhere else.

Releasing a book the same day is my good friend, Beth K. Vogt. Her sophomore book, Catch A Falling Star is a fun, well-written love story you’re definitely going to want for your summer reading.
